Neil has West syndrome, chronic malnutrition, and suffers from dystonia (painful muscle cramps). He will never be able to walk because doctor’s cut a nerve in his lower back to relieve the pain in his lower body. He has sleep apnea, a feeding tube, a catheter, and chronic urinary infections.
